VIKTOR & ROLF FUN EXHIBIT @ THE NGV

I went to the NGV gallery in the city last week to see a couture range of clothes made by 2 very creative Dutch designers. Their outfits are very "out their", but from an architectural point of view, they are amazing!

At the end of the exhibition were 3 fun photo booth set ups, and yes, guess who played there for quite some time, over and over, me! It wold take 3 photos and ask you to pick one out of the three, then you had the choice or emailing it to yourself. By the time I was on the train home, these little 'GIF's' were already in my inbox, and turned out to be quite funny.

Viktor & Ralph as young men

These dresses were shown with just 1 model standing on a podium. They then layered her up by putting each dress on top of the next one (starting from the left, the short dress, to the right). The video below will demonstrate how.

They had these creepy dolls made by a Belgium woman for every design they created.

They call this "wearable art", meaning you can wear it over a tunic, then hang it on the wall as well as art.

The photo booth I played in

An installation in the garden at the back of the NGV called "The Car Wash". You'll see why.
