My aunty lives overseas and came to stay with us for 2 weeks in October, 2017. It's been 2 years since we last saw her, so it was fabulous to catch up again. We did heaps of fun things, and of course there was always a little bit of madness interjected in there as well, just to add to the fun memories. These are some of the things we did, as well as funny photos I took with photo booth on the iPad. She'd never seen anything like all the funky functions on a tablet, so Mum and I decided to show her some of the funny settings. CRANBOURNE BOTANIC GARDENS On the Saturday which was the AFL grand final day we went off to the gardens. Last time we were all there was about 5 years or so, so it was great to go out again and see what the gardens looked like. Click on the button below to see the blog and photos of the gardens. We had a fabulous day once the rain cleared up. We went to see the fantastic movie VICTORIA AND ABDUL. THE DIOR EXHIBITION AT THE NGV This is magnificent and so worth seeing, if you can. If not here are some photos to look at to give you an idea of how amazing the clothes and accessories are. The NGV always does an incredible job of displaying all their exhibitions. The first photo is of an installation in the open area before you go into the exhibition, that is actually placed on the ground in huge pieces, like a giant puzzle, to for the pattern shown. It is by Michael Lin. GARDEN PARTY FOR TRISH & FRIENDS We have a big party at home every time Trish is here, and this time we had a garden party for friends. The front and garden look the best they have ever looked, (my Mum is a genius), so it was the perfect day and place for it. About 35 friends came to eat incredible food, drink wine and have fun! Here are some photos from that day :) SUSHI TRAIN AT MYER EMPORIUM
My Aunt has never seen nor eaten at a sushi train. Luckily I found one where I can get into with the wheelchair so off we went. We spent this wonderful day together in the city running around eating, shopping, laughing and more eating.

Your Mum is a genius in the garden and you with your camera. You may only have one good eye Lou but it doesn’t miss a thing!😊💐
