I'VE BEEN UP TO A FEW FUN THINGS SINCE MY LAST BLOG....ENJOYOne of the places I had on my list of "Places to Visit" was the State Library in Melbourne. A few weeks ago we had a burst of sunny and warm days so I took off to have a look and do some other things in that part of Melbourne. Click on the Flickr link to see all the photos not only of the State Library but also RMIT which has some interesting architecture. I was disappointed with the library as it was my first time ever (I know....)?? Not only is it being restored on the outside and covered and hidden by netting, but I found it very boring. I had always heard about "the dome" and thought it would be like some amazing Michael Angelo coloured glass creation, and yet it was plain, and not very easy or interesting to photograph.
