I have been taking photos of the Japanese garden this Spring as I wanted to put together a book of the stunning garden that Mum & Dad & the special Japanese landscaper designed a number of years ago. And to honour the hard & magnificent work that Mum puts into it each and every day. Even when it's raining and she'd out there with an umbrella and layers of clothing.
It is 98 pages and the size is 39 cms by 29 cms. It's a large book however I wanted it that size as it really shows off the plants, flowers and garden. I took a different approach this time when taking the photos as it's a small garden, I don't use photo shop, I don't like to get the fence, houses and cars in the photos when looking in one direction. Nor the house if looking in another or rooftops of neighbours houses. So I have taken many photos of the extraordinary magic of nature, and they show the marvel of the flowers or plants. Plus much more! They retail for $150 if anyone is interested in buying one. I have a couple, if that left, here at the house from my first batch I had printed. I'm grateful and excited to have sold 5 copies so far. Or I am happy to post them to you if you are interested. If not, I am just happy to say that I have my second book done, and am super happy with it! I'd be more than happy to show it to you next time you are here :) Here is a photo of the cover. I took this one day of a fern on a sunny day. I looked up and spotted this amazing opportunity. I popped the wheelchair into recline mode (as my hands go numb these days if I hold the camera for to long, plus it's heavy), and shot the leaves plus the spores. It reminds me of dominoes!
