I have just come back from seeing it this afternoon and am pleased to say another fabulous film! The film is loosely based on a woman by the name of Joy Mongano's life. She invented the Miracle Mop in the early 1990's and went on to become a millionaire inventing and patenting many other products. It has a great cast and the characters are written beautifully. Their is a quirkiness to their personalities which I found great as it appealed to my crazy sense of humour which enticed many laughs. It reminded me in a slight way to the movie The Royal Tenenbaums made in 2001. 

THE HATEFUL EIGHT
This is a Tarantino movie so I suggest that if you aren't a fan of his films, don't see it. However it is not full of blood and guts from the begining as they often are, that happens towards the last chapter of the movie, but it very important to the story of the movie. What a thriller this is! Not to mention the fantastic acting buy Kurt Russell, Morgan Friedman etc. I loved it!

STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS
I went to see it this week because I felt like seeing a movie, and to see what the hype is about. I'm not an avid Star Wars fan although have seen them all over the years. I LOVED IT! The 1 liners in it were fantastic and so funny, I laughed heaps through this film. The old cast appears such as Harrison Ford and co, playing their old characters. I'd see this again. In 20 days it has taken $2.78 billion worldwide! Huh???

SPECTRE
James Bond, what can I say other than just your typical Bond movie. I do think that Daniel Craig has too much say in the production and it's taken a bit of a boring turn. His love interest was a 20 yr old actress and it almost seemed creepy when there was a passionate scene to watch. Time for him to go. I still love the Bond series as I grew up with them. Who do you think'd make a great bond?

HE NAMED ME MALALA
What an amazing young girl, father, and story. If you have a chance to see this please do so. It is a documentary about her young life, being shot in the face by the Taliban, her passion for education and journey to even being awarded the Nobel Prize. You also get a great deal of insight into life in Pakistan and how the Taliban influence people. They now live in the UK so you are also able to see the difference in cultures as well. It is a very thought provoking film that I still find myself thinking about even today.
