ICE SKATING WITH THE SOCIAL GROUP 12.03.17

Last Sunday the Meetup Melbourne Wheelchair, Disability & Friends Social Group got together to go ice skating The wheelchairs can go on the ice, with the electric wheelchairs just driving straight on. There were 6 of us in electric wheelchairs, and 3 chaps standing on ice skates, and a carer as well as a family member to help one of the guys. Oh, and a gorgeous fur child named Patch.

It was so much fun! Four of us had been before, however the other 5 hadn't, so it was so much fun to watch their excitement when we got onto the ice, started sliding and doing wheelies. I am still smiling in my heart even as I think back to it now.

There isn't much more to say other than each and every one of them are such wonderful people. I am so grateful to have met them as they are really great people, as are so many others who couldn't make it on Sunday. They inspire me! Enjoy the fun YouTube clip I put together :)
