My heart has been full of love lately not to mention having a huge smile on my face, all thanks to some very special little 4 legged friends crossing my path. Here they are:- Meet ENZO, a 4 month old cutie with Border Collie and something else in the mix. I met him on the footpath at the Camberwell shopping area. His owner was waiting on a bench with him and as per usual I asked for a pat. He jumped all over me, I got the usual kisses on my cheeks and we were both in 7th Heaven. A friend of mine spotted this gorgeous bulldog one day in the car next to her and quickly took these shots of him. At first he is alert and then, well just exhausted and almost looks asleep whilst resting his cute head. I love bulldogs. Meet BANJO my new neighbourhood furry cavalier/poodle friend, adorable! He got onto my lap for cuddles and kisses and then when he thought that perhaps his Mum was going to leave him behind, he jumped down and did this! He wrapped his little front legs around hers like a child hangs on to it's Mum, I have never seen this before. I've seen him since and we are best buddies now. I came home a few days ago and Mum had a friend visiting her with her furchild COSMO. Cosmo had just come back from the hairdresser and was looking fabulous. He decided he wanted to go outside after many cuddles, kisses and pats. The next minute his Mum is asking for a towel as he's fallen in the pond! Oooppps, there goes the gorgeous clean smelling fluffed up dog. It was hilarious! What a gorgeous furchild he is and am glad he has been added to my growing fury friend list. I've left the best to last. My dear friend Dette came over with her adorable adopted dogs Molly and Hariette just before Christmas. I'd not met them before and had been dying to do so. Molly is a Malteze/Shitzu mix (I think) and well Hari is, I'm not sure, is adorable a breed? Molly is 10 and just rolls over on her back for tummy rubs all the time as well as nudges for any human contact that involves a rub. Hari is 5 and doesn't go to anyone however after a short period of time she was in my lap (on the wheelchair) and relaxed. Dette was taking photos and kept saying that she couldn't believe it as this never happens. Eventually I convinced Dette to let them on my bed (they don't do that at home, nor get on her couch). She grabbed their car blanket and they were on my bed being massaged by me with 1 hand touching both. The photos speak for themselves re the bliss these babies were in. She sent me a message later (after they'd left) to say they were now lying on her couch! LOL, I refused to apologise as in my mind and household that's where your furchildren should be, spoilt and loved. They now lie on her very expensive blanket that was to by used by her only for warmth,,,lol.
