I won't write much in today's blog as the disease is making me very fatigued today. That means I'm not tired and sleepy. MY body just won't move and my brain can only cope with the complexity of solitaire and movies. I'm actually finding as the years travel along, the longer I have the disease, the less energy I seem to have and the more fatigue seems to appear. It drives me crazy as my mind is full of ideas and things I'd like to do, but my body just says no.

However yesterday I was determined to go to the gallery in the city for a few hours, to photograph some very unusual chairs that were on display. Here are some of the photographs of the very famous chairs. I am sure of which many would not be comfortable, however are magnificent pieces of art to look at.    Enjoy:)

ABOVE - 'She Chair' is designed by Tracy Deep, a well known Australian florist.
Picture
ABOVE - 'Alice Armchair' is designed by Jacopo Foggini. It is composed of ONE LONG CONTINUOUS THREAD OF PLASTIC. It was applied manually into a mould.

It was lit from underneath which made it extraordinary to photograph. Yes, I went a little crazy, I loved it!

ABOVE- It looked like glass.

ABOVE & BELOW - A fabulous chair made by brothers Humberto and Fernando Campana. This chair is made from coiled foam and rubber carpet. It is called 'Vitoria Regia' which is a reference to the Victoria Amazonica. The largest of the water lily family. It's leaves can grow up to 3 metres in diameter.

ABOVE & BELOW - This is one of my favourite chairs, of all time. I have seen it and others made of just Panda's, Flamingo's and other toys. This is also the creation of the Campana brothers. It's called the 'Cake stool'. The brothers are very inspired to use materials such as scraps of wood, furry toys and fabric offcuts.

ABOVE - 'Ghost armchair' by Cini Boeri. This chair is made from ONE SINGLE SHEET OF CLEAR GLASS, which was slumped over a mould at a high temperature in a kiln.

ABOVE - 'Knotted chair' by Marcel Wanders. It's made from rope composed of carbon and aramid fibres, a heat resistant synthetic filament used in bullet-proof body armour.

ABOVE & BELOW - This chair was incredible as it spins, just like a spinning top! Not to mention the stunning colour.
