MY EXCURSION TO SEE THE ANDY WARHOL & AI WEIWEI EXHIBITION AT THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF VICTORIA It's been so long since my last blog, so much has been happening that I either forget or am so fatigued or tired I can't think strait in order to do anything (thanks NMO). Most of the time I just think I am a paraplegic so I go out and do heaps and then can't get out of bed the following 3 days! It usually takes me a day to realise this which is great for then I don't feel so lazy sleeping until 12 - 1 pm, after I've had my shower and gotten dressed in the morning. Anyhow I did get to see this magnificent exhibition and have made a little YouTube clip for people to see parts of it, and how much fun I had. I'm not an Andy fan but have discovered Ai Weiwei's art on the internet through Pinterest, and really wanted to see his work. The amazing thing is that these 2 men had never met and yet their work paralleled each other, extraordinary. There is so much detail about their lives that I won't go into, however Ai's story is amazing. He is Chinese and a strong political activist in China of which this then lead to being arrested in China and spent time under house arrest. His life story reflects greatly on his work, it's stunning and fascinating, I loved it and it appealed to my humour. As I've been so busy I'll pop some more blog's up over the next few days. Enjoy the video (amateur). JUST REMEMBER TO ALWAYS CLICK ON THE TITLE ABOVE SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE VIDEO AND ALL THE PHOTOS :)
