I set up a group for wheelchair users, people with disabilities, carer''s and friends through an international organization called Meetup. One of our planned fun outings was to go and play bingo one Sunday afternoon at the Crown Casino in Melbourne. There were going to be 2 able bodied dear friends of mine coming along, 2 crazy but fabulous able bodied friends who hired manual wheelchairs for the day coming along in those, as well as another Meetup member who sadly fell ill that day, as well as me of course.
I had called Crown and thoroughly did my homework before going so that we'd all be ok and things would run smoothly, however they didn't. Enjoy :)
